Do you ever just sit and imagine you have won the lottery and what you would do with all that money if you did? (Obviously after sharing out the millions you promised to everyone thinking you wouldn’t actually win anyways, ha!)
I know I do. One of the must do’s would be to travel and see as much of the world as possible & fall in love with different countries and their way of life. Who knows, maybe even immigrate to the country I fall deepest in love with.
Here are three places that I want to visit in my lifetime.
NZ is my first choice. I would actually move here in a heart beat. If I were to go to NZ the top 3 things I would do are:
- Visit Fiordland National Park to view Milford Sound and camp there over night. Imagine the stars!
- Waitomo Caves as scary as it is exploring caves they can hold such beauty that it would be worth the fear.
- Whale watch in Kaikoura to see a whale up close in the ‘wild’ would leave me speechless.
Denmark is a very recent addition to my list. After watching The Last Kingdom (currently reading the book) I would love to go over to learn more about the history that they hold. I would love to see the Vikings preform at the Frederikssund theatre and rent a Viking for the day! Learn how to throw an axe, why not?
You also couldn’t go to Denmark after watching the Last Kingdom without sailing in a Viking long boat.
Iceland has been on my list for a few years and initially it was the Northern lights that attracted me to it, but it has so much more to offer. I would enjoy a night or two at Westfjords, do some more whale watching and can you really have a holiday without visiting a spa? The blue lagoon is another must do.
These are just a few of the places I would love to visit one day, where would you go?
